Roof terrace included in bold conversion

The first luxury flats created from a former hotel are now being sold following a £1m building refurbishment designed and overseen by Godden Allen Lawn.

A London developer asked the firm to oversee the second phase of work at St Olaves, a derelict hotel and extension at numbers 11 to 13, Trinity Crescent in Folkestone.

We redesigned the scheme to add a roof terrace, dealt with planning and building control regulations and then oversaw the building work, which included creating two additional floors.

The result is an impressive building that contains ten two-bedroomed flats and a three-bed penthouse with a private roof terrace offering panoramic views to the Downs and the White Cliffs of Dover.
